The Stages of a Reverse Osmosis System

Stage 5
We move on to the 5th stage where odor, germs, bad taste, and dyestuff are all removed from the water. This is a polishing filter with activated carbon. In order for it to be used, the manufacturer has to make sure that this cartridge clears all NSF regulations.
At this point on, we are definitely talking about stages that might not be available in all systems. Of course, some types of water require specific cartridges and this is especially true when we talk about reverse osmosis systems for well-water. The 6th stage really shines there.
Stage 6

Reverse Osmosis System Installation
